As Chairman of the Board of Rice & Holman, Pennsauken, New Jersey, Steward C. Holman has had a full automotive career.
In 1921 he first became employed in the industry by Mathis Motor Company as Office Manager. He went to work for a Ford dealer and in 1924 set up Rice & Holman dealership, the beginning of a long, colorful romance in the industry.
Through the years, Steward established many places of business—dump truck business; remanufacture of Ford engineers; several dealerships; Recondition Motors & Parts companies in three cities; rental and leasing companies and the R & H Management Company.
He has many awards for top sales, years of service, distinguished achievement award from Ford Motor Company; and with 50 years in business in one place, he is highly respected in his community and state.
In the midst of his busy schedule, he had time for National Automobile Dealers Association, New Jersey Automobile Dealers Association, and we could list hundreds of committees on which he served as a leader for his church, banks, clubs, and charitable organizations.
