Corinne Vigreux

Inducted 2026

Corinne Vigreux is a co-founder of TomTom and a key architect behind the company’s transformation into one of the world’s leading navigation and location technology providers serving the global automotive industry.

In 1991, alongside Harold Goddijn, Peter-Frans Pauwels, and Pieter Geelen, Vigreux helped establish the company in Amsterdam that would become TomTom. As the company expanded, she played a central role in building its commercial strategy and international presence, helping guide TomTom from early navigation software into global leadership in portable navigation devices and later into automotive navigation and mapping solutions.

TomTom’s breakthrough navigation products helped bring GPS navigation into everyday driving, fundamentally changing how people travel while laying the groundwork for modern in-vehicle navigation and connected mobility systems. As the company evolved, Vigreux helped steer TomTom’s transition toward digital maps, real-time traffic services, and software platforms now used by automakers and mobility providers worldwide.

Beyond TomTom, Vigreux has championed technology education and entrepreneurship, notably founding CODAM, a tuition-free coding school in Amsterdam, helping expand access to careers in technology.

Through her leadership, Vigreux has contributed to making navigation and location intelligence a core component of modern mobility.
