Assumed presidency of ANCO Products in 1967 and Chairmanship in 1977 Guided ANCO to national and worldwide prominence in the production of windshield wiper blades and other automotive products Edward C. Larson often advised peers and employees to “Do all the good you can, by all the means you can…as long as you can.” For years Larson worked under the direction of and provided support to John W. Anderson, founder of the Anderson Company, maker of ANCO products. With loyalty and commitment to the company, Larson quietly worked his way up from secretary in 1928 to Chairman of the Board in 1977. Under his leadership the company expanded from a national to a worldwide leader in wiper blade production. Larson opened operations in Mexico, Canada, Brazil, Belgium and Columbia. Living up to his own advice, Larson promoted personal and corporate philanthropy, focusing much of his support on Little League baseball and other youth-oriented charities.
