As Chief Engineer for Global Hybrid Strategy and Applications at Ford Motor Company, Drake is leading a team working to advance hybrid and plug-in hybrid vehicles, and the associated partnerships and infrastructures required to support such technology in the future marketplace. In a joint effort with Southern California Edison, her team is helping to pioneer the work needed to make plug-in hybrid vehicles more accessible to consumers, reduce petroleum-related emissions, and improve the cost effectiveness of the nation’s electricity grid. She is a graduate of Carnegie Mellon University in Mechanical Engineering and holds a Master Degree in Business Administration from the University of Michigan.
